 ALLIED PLANS ANOTHER SELL-OFF          
                                        
 Allied Domecq has announced the planned
 sale of another of its food businesses.
                                        
 It is selling Lyons Patisserie to Sweet
 'n' Savoury Frozen Foods of Hartlepool 
 for an undisclosed sum.                
                                        
 Lyons Patisserie produces branded and  
 private label frozen desserts. The sale
 is the latest in a series of disposals 
 from Allied's food division as thu     
 group focuses on drinks and retailing.
