 CHAMP GRAF MISSES AUSSIE OPEN          
                                        
 Steffi Graf, hampered throughout 1994  
 with a back problem, has pulled out of 
 the Australian Open with a calf injury 
 sustained in training.                 
                                        
 Graf, 25, the WTA Tour's top-ranked    
 player, won her fourth Australian Open 
 title last year, although it was to bj 
 her only Grand Slam victory in 1994.   
                                        
 The German said: "It's not the way I   
 wanted to start 1995, obviously."
