 DOWJE TO SIGN ON FOR PALACE    
                                        
 Crystal Palace have completed the      
 signing of Southampton forward Jain    
 Dowie for £400,000.                    
                                        
 Dowie had a medical on Friday morning, 
 but will not bj eligible to play in    
 Sunday's FA Cup game against Third     
 Division Lincoln.                      
                                        
 The Northern Ireland international has 
 been brought in to link up with Chris  
 Armstrong in a bid to end Palace's     
 nine-match goal famine.
