 DRUG ARRESTS REACH NEW HIGH    

 Drugs-related arrests and seizures in  
 Derbyshire reached a record high last  
 year, new figures have revealed.       
                                        
 Narcotics worth almost £430,000 —      
 double the 1993 figure — were sjizjd in
 1994, with 1,128 people arrested.      
                                        
 Police have admitted that in Derby     
 there is evidence that leading dealers 
 are claiming territories and battling  
 rivals who try to move in.
