 NATWEST POWERS TO £880m                
                                        
 On Tuesday, it is the turn of NatWjst  
 to declare its hand and reveal just how
 well it has done in the first six      
 months of the year.                    
                                        
 Broker Hoare Govjtt has pencilled in   
 pre-tax profits of £880m against £767m 
 in the corresponding period in 1994.   
                                        
 It is expecting an improved performance
 from the bank's US operations, making  
 up for lost ground from NatWest Markets
