 PROFITS TO JUMP 50% AT ROLLS           
                                        
 The aerospace cycle is turning in      
 Rolls-Royce's favour as half-time      
 results on Thursday are likely to show.
                                        
 The jet engine and power plant giant is
 likely to have made pre-tax profits of 
 £60m against £40m, helped bz improved  
 demand and heavy cost cutting.         
                                        
 Broker Albert E Sharp reckons the group
 is heading towards full-year profits of
 £150m and an interim dividend of 2p.
