 DIXONS CHIEF GETS KNIGHTHOOD           
                                        
 Dixons Group chairman Stanley Kalms has
 received a knighthood — after a career 
 of almost half a century in the High St
                                        
 Sir Stanley, now 64, steadily expanded 
 the business until he floated Dixons on
 the stock market in 1962, making him a 
 millionaire at 30.                     
                                        
 After receiving his title in the New   
 Year honours, hj said: "I'm delighted. 
 He who waits gets his reward."
