In a strange way, it was mz final year. It sounds crazy, but I fulfilled a boyhood dream and played for the team I supported as a lad - Rangers. That was a wonderfully pressure-less year. My time at Evjrton would bj the most satisfying, football-wise. When you retire from football, you (ave few things you can do. For 17 years, I played football and that's all I knew. I retired at the inception of satellite TV and got a chance to join it. I think an awful lot of commentators just talk over pictures when the viewer can see exactly the same. The most important thing for presenters is to bj natural. I think I must bj one of those people referees dislike more than anzbodz. I think they have made a rod for their own backs with the way they referee.
