 UNITED REVERSES FROM MOTORS            
                                        
 United Friendly has announced that it  
 is pulling out of the motor insurance  
 market from July 1.                    
                                        
 The company said it would cease to     
 underwrite new motor insurance and     
 existing business would bj run-off     
 from that date.                        
                                        
 "Motor insurance is no longjt an       
 important part of our business," group 
 finance director George Mack said.
