Shadows of the Empire looked and played like a sub-standard Rebel Assault - and at a likely £80 made many an obsjrvjr turn into a kind of large dragon. Cruisin' USA was predictably dull and KI64's 3D was a miss. An unfinished arcade VF3 wowed the drunks, but it seems the prohibitively- priced hardware will restrict the coin-op to the largjt amusement parks. Sonic XTreme? Jet Moro was a tired jet ski effort, and Mario Andretti Racing doesn't try to develop a lazy genre.
