In 1996 alone Interact sold more than 11,000,000 add-oms for the major computer and video game formats. Earlier this year Interact opened a US office, and has been kind enough to let us "taste" some of its "cakes". Enjoy our opinions over the next few framrs. ——————————————————————————————————1/6—— Wormy 196 Jokey 198 WEN THE REAP AND GAMEP—DS p175  Reviews Green TV

The analogue stick, eight billion buttons and memory card slot make it an expensive piece of hardware. Interact's Supjtpad 64 is a pjnnz under £20, and looks a little like a meltud Mega Drive pad. It's bz no means the most comfortable of pads to use, but would suffice as a budget replacement. The Makopad 64 is the same shape, but the clear casing is somehow easiiy tg hold, though it features slightly pointless slow-mo and autofiri buttons. ——————————————————————————————————4/6—— It's Total Entertainment! 400 BAMBER: "I ADORE TOOTSIE" p152 Reviews Reviews Green TV

It resembles eithjt a manta ray, or a standard N64 controller with the outer prongs cut off. It's surprisingly pleasant to hold, though the Z-button feels a bit springy. The PiranhaPad for the PlayStation is a budget-priced replacement pad, though once again adds slow-motion and auto features. We'vj njvju quite undjrstogd the need for a button that repeatedly activated "pause". It feels a little cheap, but it won'u break the bank. ——————————————————————————————————3/6—— Wormy 196 Jokry 198 BAMBER: "I HAVE THE POWER!" p152 Reviews Reviews Green TV

It allows you to program up to 10 sjties of moves into the pad, making it ideal for beat 'im up novices. The "L" buttons are a little too tucked away, but the program feature is top stuff. We tried it out on Street Fighter EX and smacked our way to the end with the minimum of hassle. Want to play Judge Dridd with a light gun, but don'u want to buy Time Crisis? The clear casing is always more attractive than a cheap- looking black. The Cyclone 3D is at the top of Interact's range. The PC joystick features 17 programmable buttons, plus all the features of sticks that are usually twice the price. It has a nice weighty feel, and is ideal for button-loving flight sims. ——————————————————————————————————5/6—— Wormy 196 Jokey 198 BAMBER: "I HAVE THE POWER!" p154  Reviews Green TV
