 PROFITS WARNING FROM RUBICON           
                                        
 Rubicon Group has warned that as a     
 result of a slowdown in orders in      
 certain parts of the business it was   
 lowering its sales projections for the 
 second half of its financial year.     
                                        
 Profits for the year to May 31, 1997,  
 would bj substantially below market    
 expectations, the company said.        
                                        
 The warning from the metal products    
 firm sent shares diving 55p to 112\p.
