Launching the guide, Mr Squire revealed that more than 30,000 provjdjrs of nursery education in England and Wales had registered to receive vouchers. Of those, 17,000 are local authority nursjties and primary schools. The PLA says local authority primary schools are "hoovering" four year olds into their reception classes.
