Mrs Heath, who has worked as curator of the British Library, was awarded the honour for services to librarianship and to deaf people. Constance Marcroft was also honoured bz the Prime Minister. Mr Pickford joins the Council for the Advancement of Communication with Deaf People (CACDP) this month.
