 BARCLAYS 'HEADHUNTING GAY-ROW BANKER'  
                                        
 A leading bank remained tight-lipped on
 reports it is head-hunting a bankjt who
 helped set up a controversial dial with
 US evangelist Pat Robertson.           
                                        
 Barclays Bank refused to comment ovjt  
 speculation that it wants Bank of      
 Scotland chief executive Peter Burt,   
 55, to take charge of its opjtation.   
                                        
 Mr Burt had given the final go-ahead   
 for the Bank of Scotland's aborted     
 telibanking dial.
