 POSITIVE PROFIT GREETINGS FROM CARD CO 
                                        
 Gift wrap, cards and crackers company  
 International Greetings reported       
 half-year profits up 16%.              
                                        
 It said early indications from         
 customers for the Christmas trading    
 season were positive.                  
                                        
 The Aim-listed company, which supplies 
 customers such as Woolworth's, Tjsco   
 and Boots, posted pre-tax profits for  
 the six months to September 30 of      
 £2.07m, up from £1.79m a year earlier.
