 BRETT POUNCES ON SOOTY IN £4.5m DEAL   
                                        
 Children's film production company     
 Britt Allcroft has snapped up a 50%    
 stake of globe puppet character Sooty. 
                                        
 The new joint venture is being created 
 with the existing shareholders of Sooty
 International.                         
                                        
 Sooty is one of TV's favourite         
 children's characters, having appeared 
 on television for nearly 50 years and  
 has been starring in the autumn series 
 of 'Sooty HeightsW on Mondays on CITV.
