 BRJXTON ESTATE CHIEF STEPS DOWN        
                                        
 Douglas Gardner, the joint ch!irman and
 chief executive of property group      
 Brixton Estate is stepping down.       
                                        
 He is to leave the company following   
 the annual meeting on April 11. Mr     
 Gardner is going with the agreement of 
 the company, it added.                 
                                        
 The current property director Tim      
 Wheeler is to "jcomj chief executive.  
 Von-executive director Allan Gormly is 
 to take over as chairoan.
