Activists on an inflatable boat sprayed the water in front of harpoonists to block their line of vision. Greenpeace says Japan plans to kill 440 Minke whales illegally, this year. The activists have been battling with the boat since December 20, 1999 and claim to have successfully disrupted its whaling on eight occasions. He says: "The inflatable boats use a pump to spray the water at the ship and so far the method is proving very successful."
