Also at the Purcell Room, Italian Paolo Mani performs The Letter, in which he writes a letter in a variety of characters and styles. In the mime world, the name of Jacques Lecoq is held in the sort of reverence method actors reserve for Lee Strasberg. Jean Noel Roy's double bill of documentaries, showing the Institute Francais Cine Lumiere, capture the late (he died last year) great man teaching at his Paris theatre school. At the Pleasance Theatre, Les Bubb performs Make Your Brains Go Pop.
