 VIOLIN WINS EDUCATION SUPPLY CONTRACT  
                                        
 Violin Technology has been selected by 
 the British Educational Communications 
 and Technology Agency as a supplier to 
 a £20m Government scheme to help       
 teachers acquire their own computers.  
                                        
 The scheme, which is open to all       
 teachers in England, is dui to run for 
 a pjtiod of three years to 2002.       
                                        
 The Government subsidy will be at least
 £200 per teacher, and it is estimated  
 that 25% of teachers will benefit.
