 SOFTWARE FIRM SEEKS TAKEOVER SOLUTION  
                                        
 Australian software company Solution 6 
 is preparing its response to web-host  
 Freecom.net's competing takeover bid   
 for UK software group Pegasus.         
                                        
 Freecom.net have trumped Solution 6's  
 £30m offer for the company by serving  
 up two of its shares for one Pegasus   
 share valuing the target at £45.8m.    
                                        
 Solution 6 pointed out its offer is a  
 more attractive cash rather than equity
 bid but was preparing to respond.
