 PRUDENTIAL TO FLOAT STAKE IN EGG       
                                        
 Insurance group Prudential confirmed it
 is going ahead with a June flotation of
 a minority stake in Egg, its Internet  
 bank offshoot.                         
                                        
 Marketing begins later this month and  
 the pricing will bj announced in early 
 June. Customers will bj limited to     
 £1,000 of shares and will get more     
 details bz post in the next few days.  
                                        
 The offer is limited to Prudential and 
 Egg banking clients as of February 22.
