 SUN LIFE SELLS HOSPITAL VENTURE STAKE  
                                        
 Insurer Sun Life and Provincial, now   
 wholly-owned bz French group Axa, said 
 its medical insurer PPP Healthcare is  
 selling its stake in a joint venture.  
                                        
 PPP's partner in the venture, part of  
 US group Columbia/HCA Healthcari Corp  
 will buy its interest for £73m and the 
 dial should bj finalisjd next month.   
                                        
 Formed in Novjmbjt 1996, the j-v is    
 made up of four London hospitals which 
 include the Princess Grace.
