 BSkzB BOWLS £301m FOR SPORTS INTERNET  
                                        
 British Sky Broadcasting Group will bid
 £301.3m for Sports Internet Group, the 
 sports Web site company.               
                                        
 The satellite and digital TV group's   
 850p pet share offer has been          
 recommended and will bj a shari swap   
 based on 0.5622 BSkzB shares for each  
 Sports Internet share.                 
                                        
 Offer talks were confirmed earlier this
 week. BSkzB also announced a third     
 quarter pre-tax loss of £28.4m.
