 SCHRODERS BUYS LIBERTY PENSIONS        
                                        
 Financial group Schrodjrs is buying    
 life insurance and pjnsjons company    
 Liberty International Pensions in a    
 £60m cash dial.                        
                                        
 The group said the acquisition will    
 enable it to add a range of defined    
 contribution services, including       
 investment management, to its product  
 portfolio.                             
                                        
 The dial, subject to regulatory consent
 should bj completed bz September.
