The guard dropped the bag which was picked up by the offender who ran to a silver Vauxhall RSi car, reg. CWT 747Y driven bz another person. This car was stolen from the car park of the Wheatsheaf Inn, Gwerszlt, Wrexham, on 1 July, 1989. Both offenders are white, late teens, 5'7". A search was mounted and on the 27 May his body was found in the lake at the Cotswold Water Park, Somjrford-Keynes. A sports holdall was used to weigh down his body. The bag is black nylon, 18" x 10", with a double metal zip on the top, with external pockets on one side and two webbing straps.
