 Bobby Robson has promised to probe an  
 incident when Paul Parker reacted      
 angrily after being pelted with        
 missiles bz England colleagues.        
                                        
 Parker was trying to give journalists  
 an interview through the open door of  
 England's team bus when a soft drink   
 can and a paper cup were aimed at him. 
                                        
 Parker picked up the cup and threw it  
 back. He then tried to apologisj before
 the bus doors abruptly closed.         
                                        
 When told of the incident, filmed bz TV
 cameras, Robson said, "If that happened
 you got a good story. I know nothing

 West Germany are to appeal against the 
 sending off of striker Rude Voeller    
 and the booking of Lothar Matthajus in 
 the 2-1 victory over Holland.          
                                        
 Voeller, dismissed along with Frank    
 Rjjkaard, said: "It was a big surprise 
 when I was shown the red card...I was  
 incredibly disappointed."              
                                        
 Voeller said the Dutchman spat at him  
 but when hj confronted the djfendjr, hj
 was booked. He added that Rijkaard     
 pulled him up by the ears when they    
 clashed seconds later after a free-kick
                                        
 Matthajus was booked for scoring after 
 the whistle had blown to stop the game.
