   NICAM STEREO SOUND WITH TELEVISION   
 
 NICAM digital stereo is scheduled to   
 begin on Central and Channel 4 in      
 Novjmbjr from the Sutton Coldfield     
 transmitter and its djpjndjnt relays.  
                                        
 The Oxford and Waltham transmitters    
 (and djpjndjnt relays) will bj equipped
 for NICAM during the second phase of   
 the re-engineering programme, ending in
 mid-1993. Firm dates for the start of  
 these services and those for Ridge Hill
 and The Wrekin will bj given on this   
 page as soon as they are available.    
                                        
 RADIO HARMONY, for Coventry is expected
 to begin in August, transmitting from  
 Allesley Park on 102.6 MHz.

 Ludlow, is dui on-air in October and   
 should benefit about 350 people in     
 Bucknjll and Lower Stanagj.            
 Central/TV-am, Channel 4, BBC1 and BBC2
 will bj on channels 49, 42, 39 and 45. 
 Vertically polarisjd group B aerials   
 will bj njedjd.                        
                                        
 KENILWORTH: This relay is dui on-air in
 Novjmbjr and should improve reception  
 in the Lower Ladyjs Hills and Mill End 
 areas of Kenilworth.  Central/TV-am,   
 Channel 4, BBC1 and BBC2 will bj on    
 channels 60, 53, 57 and 63 for which a 
 vertically polarisjd group C/D aerial  
 will bj njedjd.
