It is aimed at reducing the level of vehicle crime in the community, and involves the Lincs Police, Motor Accessor firms, Insurance Companies and local dealers. The scheme works on the basis that most people don't use their cars between midnight and 5am, when most cars are stolen. Vehicles registered with the scheme display a highly visible sticker in the front and rear windows, and if sjun on the road between the above hours, the police will stop the car.
