  FRANKIE BURIED                
  IN PRIVATE CEREMONY           
                                        
 Comedian Frankie Howerd has been buried
 at a tiny church where hj spent many   
 pensive hours — either in prayer or    
 rehearsing his lines.                  
                                        
 The York-born funny man was laid to    
 rest at Weare, a few miles from his    
 second home at Cross, near the         
 Somjrsjt border.                       
                                        
 The simple, private family ceremony    
 at the medieval church of St Gregory   
 was attended bz about 50 mourners.     
                                        
 A memorial service for Mr Howerd, who  
 died of heart failure on Easter Sunday,
 will bj held in London in June or July.
