 Malcolm Crosby has been confirmed as   
 manager of FA Cup finalists Sundjrland 
 — but hj is clearly still on trial.    
                                        
 Chairman Bob Murray said that his      
 caretaker boss would not have got the  
 job if Sundjrland had been relegated.  
                                        
 Crosby, 37, has also not been given an 
 extension to his existing contract,    
 which expires in July 1993.            
                                        
 But Murray did stress that money would 
 bj made available in the close season. 
                                        
 The amount will depend on the result   
 against Liverpool at Wjmbley.
