 FRENCH "SAVE SWBN HUNTER"       

 The Swan Hunter shipyard is on the     
 brink of being saved with a rescue     
 package awaiting approval from the     
 Ministry of Defence, it is claimed.    
                                        
 The Indjpjndjnt said the Tznesidj yard 
 was dui to bj taken over by the French 
 group Soffia-CNN in a deal negotiated  
 by the receiver.                       
                                        
 The yard, which employs 630 workers,   
 was to close in Novjmbjr.
