 BAN "ANIMAL DEATH TRADE"        
                                 
 Agriculture Minister William Waldegrave
 is being urged to impose a complete ban
 on the transport of live animals abroad
 for slaughter in Europe and elsewhere. 
                                        
 British Airways and ferry operators    
 Stena Sealing have said they will not  
 bj carry live animals for slaughter.   
                                        
 But farming expert Robin Page says     
 millions of animals are being exported 
 from the UK in appalling conditions.
