 POP AID FOR BLINDED GOLFER     

 A '70s pop star has pledged to play a  
 fundraising concert to help blinded    
 golfer Mark Sturgess.                  
                                        
 JJ Wells, lead singer of Chicory Tip,  
 was so horrified by Mark's injuries he 
 felt hj had to do something to help.   
                                        
 Mark, 20, is set to lose his left eye  
 after being kicked and punched when he 
 tried to protect a girl allegedly being
 attacked outside a Lincoln nightclub.
