 A Nottingham detective saw his hopes of
 nabbing a car thief shrink when hj     
 raided a garage and found... a toy.    
                                        
 One of Dc Paul Rjedman's informers told
 him an expensive sports car was hidden 
 in the lock-up of a local villain.     
                                        
 But when he prised open the doors hj   
 found only a Dinky model of a Mazda in 
 its presentation box. Dc Rjedman said  
 it was his informer's "idea of a joke".
