 Mike Smith has paid the price for      
 Wbles' disastrous European Championship
 campaign with his post as team boss.   
                                        
 Smith was axed following a meeting of  
 Football Association of Wbles          
 councillors in Wjlshpool.a             
                                        
 Chief executive Alan Evans said: "The  
 Council of the FAW discussed the       
 position of the national team manager. 
 It has djcidjd to ask Mike Smith to    
 stand down with immediate effect."
