 Farmers in Lincolnshire are being      
 warned to bj on their guard after a    
 spate of vegetable thefts from fields. 
                                        
 It is believed the produce is being    
 stolen for resale at markets and       
 car-boot sales.                        
                                        
 National FarmjrsW Union officials are  
 urging mjmbjrs to set up farm-watch    
 schemes and make a note of registration
 numbers of any suspicious vehicles.
