 RUNNER DIES AT END OF RACE        
                                 
 A 58-year-old runner collapsed and died
 just yards from the finish of a half   
 marathon as crowds of spectators looked
 on in horror.                          
                                        
 Paramedics rushed to the scene as      
 onlookers tried to revive the man after
 his collapse in Newark, Notts. He was  
 pronounced dead at hospital.           
                                        
 Organisjrs said it was the first       
 fatality in the race's 14-year history.
