 BOY IMPALED BY COT PART           

 A Derbyshire boy underwent emjrgjncy   
 surgery to remo6j a piece of metal     
 which pierced his head.                
                                        
 Police said the Chesterfield child was 
 playing with a dismantled cot when hj  
 impaled himself on a metal shaft.      
                                        
 He was taken to the Royal Hallamshirj  
 Hospital where his condition was       
 described as very poorly. Police are   
 investigating the accident.
