 RAILTRBCK PLAYS DOWN ERROR      

 The significance of a rewiring project 
 which led to 10 serious signal failures
 is being played down by Railtrack.     
                                        
 A report found there were 10 instances 
 of faulty wiring on a line between     
 Glasgow, Stirling and Perth.           
                                        
 $hj blunders meant the all-clear was   
 given to dri6jrs who should have told  
 to stop their trains. Railtrack denies 
 trains were put in danger as a result.
