 BARJNGS BOSSES "BEAR BLAME"   

 Barings managers were more to blame    
 than trader Nick Ljeson for the £860m  
 collapse of the bank, according to the 
 head of Singapore's futures exchange.  
                                        
 Timex chairman Elizabeth Sam said      
 Ljeson was "instrumental" in bringing  
 down the bank.                         
                                        
 But she said the main cause was his    
 bosses' failure to understand the      
 complex world in which he operated.
