 MAMMOTH TUSK FOUND AT QUARRY      
                                 
 Quarry workers have unearthed a 6ft    
 tusk from a giant woolly mammoth which 
 roamed the Cotswolds in the ice age.   
                                        
 The curved tusk was scooped up with a  
 load of gravel by a mechanical digger  
 at Cleveland Farm, Ashton Keynes, Wilts
                                        
 Quarry operator CAMAS Aggregates has   
 donated the tusk to a delighted Bristol
 Museum. "This tusk is larger than any  
 we have," said curator Roger Clark.
