 GAMBLERS "POISONED ALL BLACKS" — CLAIM 
                                        
 Retiring All Blacks coach Laurie Mains 
 claimed British bookmakers may have    
 been behind the alleged food poisoning 
 of his team before the World Cup final.
                                        
 Several All Blacks were stricken by    
 suspected food poisoning before the    
 final, won 15-12 by South Africa.      
                                        
 "There is talk that maybe it came from 
 betting syndicates in the US, from the 
 bookmakers," Mains suggested.
