 BABY ABANDONED IN PHONEBOX      
                                 
 A newborn baby has been found abandoned
 in a phonjbox, police have said.       
                                        
 The baby boy was found wrapped in a    
 sheet and blanket by a neighbour who   
 had seen a woman leaving the kiosk in  
 Stoke Newington, north London.         
                                        
 The 7lb 13oz boy was taken to Homjrton 
 Hospital, where he is said to be in    
 good health. Police want to trace the  
 mother who may need medical attention.

 A former bedsit tenant at the home of  
 Rosemary and Fred West has told how she
 heard screams from the cellar and a    
 girl's voice shouting "Stop it, Daddy".
                                        
 Jayne Hamjr was giving evidence at the 
 Winchester Crown Court trial of alleged
 serial killer Rosemary West, 41.       
                                        
 She had been only once to the cellar   
 and remembered seeing children'u toys  
 there, she said.
