 Nick Faldo was among the elite players 
 who struggled to come to terms with    
 windy conditions in the opening round  
 of the £2m Tour Championship in Tulsa. 
                                        
 Britain's former world No 1 shot a     
 six-over-par 76 and goes into the      
 second round eight shots behind leader 
 Billy Mayfair.                         
                                        
 The field combined for a total of just 
 64 birdies, with 121 bogeys, 12 double 
 bogeys and two triple bogeys.
