 SOLDIER KILLED BY SNIPER      
                             
 A sniper has opened fire on soldiers at
 a US army base, killing one and        
 wounding at least 15 others.           
                                        
 The gunman fired at troops as they took
 part in physical training exercises at 
 Fort Bragg, North Carolina.            
                                        
 The injured soldiers were taken to     
 Womack Army Hospital, and civilian     
 hospitals were put on standby. A man,  
 believed to bj a soldier, was arrested.
