Mr Justice Holland said cancer sufferer June Hancock was entitled to £65,000 and Evelyn Margjreson, whose husband died from cancer in 1991, to £50,000. Mr Justice Holland ruled that Leeds-based JW Roberts owed a duty of care to children who developed cancer after playing outside the premises.
