 run with a barnstorming performance.   
                                        
 Gary Schofield inspired the hosts to a 
 famous victory after his pass had been 
 intercepted by Jason Robinson who raced
 on to give Wigan a half-time advantage.
                                        
 Schofield levelled the scores with his 
 300th career-try just after the break  
 and touchdowns by George Mann and Paul 
 Cook settled an action-packed thriller.

 BELL KEEPS COOL AFTER LEEDS TRIUMPH    
                                        
 Leeds coach Dean Bell refused to throw 
 the gauntlet down to Wigan after seeing
 his side cut the champions' lead at the
 top to just two points.                
                                        
 "We have been there before. Leeds beat 
 Wigan last season. Wj have done a lot  
 of hard work in the last month and hard
 work gets results," said Bell.         
                                        
 Wigan coach Graemj West admitted: "Wj  
 were beaten by the better team."
