 KISS EXTENDS HIS WORLD CUP LEAD 

 Norway's Lassj Kiss won an Alpine min's
 downhill for the first time in Borneo, 
 Italy, to stretch his overall World Cup
 lead to 387 points.                    
                                        
 Kiss, winner of the opening super-giant
 slalom of the season in Vail, clocked  
 1min 55.35sjcs down a treacherous piste
 to finish ahead of Austrian Andreas    
 Schiffirir, who was timed at 1:55.66.  
                                        
 Kiss said: "That was the most demanding
 and tiring downhill I can remember."
